    Logo Review

We've had our current logo (Top Left) at A Party Shop for 5yrs+ but we (some of us ) are now starting to question the colour, so we had the logo designer to come up with some alternative colour choices.

The new colour will be important to the site itself, as we run the logo colours throughout the site. The logo is also used on staff clothing, promotional literature, shop signage, etc.

Please have a look at the colour choices at Sample Logos
as we'd love to have your opinion on which is preferable. Of course feel free to suggest a colour scheme if you dont like any of the options.

Please note this is not a Site Review but looked like the best place to post this.

2nd one or the last one for me. With you using the colours throughout the site, anything with red as a main colour has to be got rid of IMO. Red just doesn't work on websites in any great quantity almost all of the time.

PS - are you in the woohoo or the boohoo at the change? I'll show my cards once i have your answer. I guess at you wanting to change and Peter liking it as it is.

I like the ones where the highlight on the ballons is soft-edged, and the ones with the ground shadow from the ballons. I also prefer it where the word 'party' stands out. Actually, the original logo was pretty good, but I can understand the pink colour giving you problems across the site.
        No. 2 is my choice.
        (avoid no. 5)

2 or 15 bur would be better with the 'soft' reflection.

              I like No 2 too
No 5 made me chuckle, looks like a MasterCard logo!

I'd just keep what you've got but make the 'party' fill white as in 2.

My favourite would be number 6.

I like gold/blue combinations and this one just looks best to me.

                      2, 6 and 15 for me.

For No.2 I would prefer to see all the lettering fill in white as shown in 6 and 15.

I really liked the balloons on 6 too but I don't like the text colour. It's too wishy-washy in green/white

It was the wishy-washy green outline that also put me off No.6.
No.6 was my favourite for the balloons and I quite liked the shadow effect, but not the lettering outline.

Does your logo sell your products?
Does your logo increase your conversion rate?
Is your logo recognised within your marketplaces through print copy, signage, flyers, catalogues etc?
Does your logo tell the potential new customer they are in the right place to get their solutions?

Look companies waste millions, sometimes billions changing logos or re-branding because they believe they are tired.
They then spend even more of their PROFITS running an ad campaign to inform people of the name change, Norwich Union are at it at the moment changing their name to AVIVA for god knows what reason. They know the name change WILL cost them customers, hence the massive advertising blitz, but they have taken the decision that having a new name better brands their business in the minds of some of their number and they are fools, wealthy fools but fools nonetheless and this name change will have a negative impact their bottom line for at least three years.
The only mind that matters is the customers!

Your logo is just five years old. I would guess it has relevance in your marketplace and may well be known amongst your existing customers but it is JUST a logo. It isn't costing you sales, it isn't turning away customers so leave it alone and instead get those who think that it should be changed to do something useful and come up with a value proposition that you can spread throughout your marketing efforts and convince the online and offline customers they are in the right place.
