I like the site....

my only comment is that I'd like some reassurance you are selling genuine items rather than copies etc.

A few things come to mind:

1. Term and conditions:

Shipping And Handling < Insert information on your Shipping and Handling here >

Ought to be completed.

2. Value propostion.

There are good strong images on the front page, but I'm not getting a strong impression of your value proposition. You need to decide how you want to position yourselves in the customers mind and make the website do that for you.

3. Product images.

Part and parcel of 2. above. Your product images are very flat pictures of the clothes. I'd have thought designer clothing was all about image and lifestyle and your product pictures need to pick up on that and project the right image.

Go look at cotton traders for an example. Not the same target market, but they know how to show the products to their best advantage.

4. SALE

There's a nice big 'SALE' graphic on the front page. Is there a sale on? I couldn't see any information on it.

5. Your section pages have very little text. They won't be indexed by the search engines.

I'm guessing you're using 'extended info pages' rather than single product per page (SPP). Have a search around the forum for this phrase as you'll find a lot of discussion on this.

Are you referring to the omission of the sub folder, as you can obviously change the page name on the extended info tab. To remove the sub folder is possible, but a headache and ill advised. The forum has details on how to do this if you so desire. "remove acatalog" would be the obvious starting point for a search.

Hi Kevin - very nice site, but really let down by the quality of the images. At £40 for a T-shirt you would sell more if you got them done professionally! Even improving the existing images using something like Photoshop would make a difference (get rid of grey backgrounds, make it less obvious that shoes have been photographed on a sheet etc).

Struggling with some of the discounts - Armani white mens underwear is currently showing Price £15, RRP £28, saves you 22%.........
