    Why is Google doing this?

we seem to be droping down the pages very fast at the moment.

google seems to be picking up the following page when we search

    cgi-bin/ss000002.pl?..

    instead of :

which is what use to happen.
this happening with all our top ranked pages as they slip down.
    any ideas??

Why do we constantly have to ask for URLs, how on earth can we look at anything without one

      Q. Why is Google doing this?

      A. because that's where your navigation link with 'Boxing Gloves' on it is saying the webpage is.

You're using cgi-bin navigation, it's the worst you can use, there's a deluge of information on the subject already in the forum, have a read if you want to know why etc. Short of it, you need to add a normal TopLevelSectionList that uses plain URLs in the menu, it's a much better menu and has none of the disadvantages of the cgi-bin variety. Try adding the selector for the menu into the design, you can then choose different varieties of same menu from site options. Take a look at some of the standard templates in the design library (web page outer group), you'll see how it is added to those, just copy for your site.
