Adding info to meta tags

Hi

I have been in discussion with an SEO company who want FTP access to our site in order to be able to add meta title and description tags to our pages.

I am under the impression that this all needs to be done through Actinic, am I correct in this assumption?

Correct, FTPing to the server is worthless. Get yourself a company that know the software, you've not found the right company yet.

Chris - I can put you in touch with an SEO company who not only know Actinic but use it themselves and have done so since v8

(they use it to run shops not to build sites for others)

Yeah, they could ftp in and change the files, next time you updated the site though the files on the server would be overwritten.

You need to make the changes in Actinic.
