A quick and easy way to help you would be to add PayPal to your payment options, at least temporarily.

You could contact PayPal business directly and then you have the choice of PayPal Express or PayPal Website Payments.

If you do that then we can help you with integrating it quickly.

Sarah, I have found that the most common cause of this is the site swapping between www and non-www pages.

You can fix this by uploading a .htaccess file with this content :

RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www\.mydomain\.co.uk$ [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.mydomain.co.uk/$1 [L,R=301]

Replace "mydomain" with your domain name (and change .co.uk if necessary).

Or, if you have access to Google Webmaster Tools/Search Console, then you can specify a preference in there.

Or do both for a belt and braces approach.

Having said that, I too have gone through to checkout. It is all behind SSL and it didn't swap between www and non-www

It was a test purchase so is probably in your PSP Pending tab.

To add PayPal to your existing site, go to Business Settings > Payment and Security.

Click the + on the top left of the dialog box and add PayPal Website Payments from the drop-down box. Then click Configure method and add your merchant ID that you have from your other site.

Alternatively, you can add PayPal Express payments which is by far the most popular of the PayPal offerings.

Here are the instructions to do this from PayPal:

You also need to enter the email address associated with your PayPal account into the ‘Business’ field.
