Special shipping charges

Our shipping costs are set up using several price bands based on order value in the cart. Orders totalling over £50 are shipped free. I have added a new product ( value £28.00 each ) which will ship direct from the manufacturer at a special shipping charge ( £6.00 each ), and I want to bypass the price band model for this product.

I have put the value of £6.00 as a 'Shipping Supplement' and ticked 'Ship Separately' in the Details tab for the product, which according to the help pages will bypass the normal shipping calculations ... it doesn't ... the £6.00 is added to the 'normal' shipping charge.

Any ideas ? We are running Actinic Business Multi-Site v 8.5.1

Hi Alan

You need to select the 'Exclude from Shipping Band Calculation' box to apply the shipping supplement charge for that particular product which will ignore what you set up in 'Business Settings | Shipping and Handling'.
