Show shipping before country select?

We have set up a simple shipping charge of 12.50 for all items and so would like this to show BEFORE the user has to select a country from the invoice drop down list in the checkout. Is this possible?

I'm afraid this will have to be one for the wishlist becase like you said at the moment the shipping will only be calculated after the destination is choosen.

Can it be done as a shipping surcharge? Does a surcharge show from the start?

Don't know if this is any help, but in Business Settings|Ordering|Miscellaneous tick the box "Request Location Information Early"
When customer clicks the "Buy Now" button they are asked to enter the shipping destination country and to confirm. When they have confirmed they are shown the basket contents with the default shipping charge for that country added.

If you want to see it in operation go to our site and click on "Order Now" for any product. We have other stuff on the confirmation page, such as delivery date and message, but they are optional
