muliple line orders

When Actinic calculates freight charges for a muliple line order, it seems to be combining the weight of all the items and the calculating the charge as if it is all going in one parcel.
Is there a setting to change this so that it sees every line as one parcel and adds the parcel charges together?

I don't have v8 open at the moment but isn't there an option in the product called something like "ship separately" to do just that?

edit - thinking about it (not easy at this time of the night) - doesn't that ship each item individually not each row?

Sounds about right.
Is there a way as setting this as checked as the default value, or do I have to back and edit every item in the store?

Calculate what is your average shipping amount.
Input 1kg as your default weight on the site.
Insert 1kg = average shipping amount in the shipping tables.
If excess, increase by average shipping amount per 1kg.

You will lose on some and gain on others, should balance out, if not, increase the average value until it does.

After a lot of trial and error, I have finally got the shipping working pretty close to how I want it.
On multiple line orders, with items of different weights, Acinic calculated the shipping charge in most cases correctly.
In the casses where it doesn't, is there a report (or way of finding) what charge it applied to each line. This is in aid of identifying the offending error in shipping setup or product setup.

This is on a wish-list and I will add a vote on your behalf. Shipping is calculated and applied as a single cumulative ammount for the whole order. It is not possible to display the shipping charged to each line item in the order.
