    Automatically Send email to customer when order has been shipped

    Hi everybody,

    I've had a look through the forums, and had a look through the help file, and forgive me if it was right under my nose, but I'd like to know if this is possible.

    Basically, I want to send an email automatically to the customer to inform them when their order has been completed and shipped. I know you can send them manually, but is there anyway you can send it automatically, say when the order moves from the "Pending" to "Complete" orders?

    well....in theory..you can set Actinic to do this by using the built in order processing (Settings > Business Settings > Order Processing)

    You should be able to set Actinic to do this by just checking the "send email" box in the "one click order completion"

    But....it doesn't work! It just queues them for sending and you need to either send them manually or use the "send emails" option (which could be risky as it's possible there could be a lot more emails in that list than just the "order shipped" ones you want to send!)

    Not sure there is another "automatic" way to do it...this WAS supposed to be the automatic way
