Shipping Rules and Customer Groups

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to setup specific shipping rules for individual customer groups?

Indirectly yes, if for example your shipping charges were a percentage of the order total, but in general terms no, you set up discounts on the cart amounts to differentiate groups, not separate shipping. Payment methods can be split, but not shipping. And good i say cos i am a firm believer in shipping being at cost and not a profit making tool. Especially in todays marketplace, where shipping plays a big part in a decision whether to buy or not.
