A fix for free shipping by region not global?

Hi,
Does anyone have a fix or a solution to allow free shipping over £x amount in the UK but not in another region, currently free shipping it set globally (over all teritories which is ridiculous as who on earth is going to want the same threshold for sending to the UK as to Austrailia).

I see on the forums that Norman may have come up with something for v6 but there's no mentition of it on his site as far as I can see, anything for v8?
Anyone used Norman's solution?

Or when are Actinic going to sort a fix for this as it has been on the wish list for years?

I have to admit I have a few products that I've wanted to offer free UK shipping on but not for shipping outside the UK so I'll be interested in replies here.

Products should have an "allow free shipping" option which then offers a dropdown allowing us to choose which shipping zones this free option applies to, IMO

Well, something like that anyway. I know this comes up a fair bit on the forum.

If you have your zones and classes setup correctly, then on each class (bottom right) you have this option. Because it's within the UK zone it is limited to UK only, so no Aussies can jump in etc.

I still want to be able to exempt certain products from UK shipping only..I'm fairly sure it's already on the wishlist though

Duh! Really simple sorry for the thread.
Helps if when you are looking to solve the problem you have a site with more than one zone open in actinic.
