Change shipping class order / sequence

Hello All ... again !
Is there a way to change the shipping class order ?
Currently Pick Up in Store is top of the list and guess what !
Mr Silly Customer leaves it at the default and then complains because he's told that his goods are ready to be collected !, when he actually wanted them delivered.

I'd rather have the default setting of 1st class.
I've tried clicking on "display at bottom of list" in the online class order bit (properties of pick up in store), but it actually displays 2nd from bottom :-(

It would be nice (and look more professional) to have some sort of logical sequence.
Easy or not ?

Is it showing 2nd from bottom because you have another method also selected to be at the bottom and it was a toss up as to who got it?

BUT, you have to accept that you will get numpties i'm afraid. If you set up two classes, one saying 'totally free shipping' and the other called 'select this one to get ripped off royally', there will always be some pratt select the latter, no matter what you do.

And thank you Lee, you were right, there was a fight between 2 options that wanted to be bottom !

We managed to reduce the number of users selecting the wrong delivery option by changing it from a drop-down list to radio buttons, which lets them see all of the options available. You'll find how to do that in the AUG as well.

Very good point Brian, i always forget about that option. It's a great option as it shows all option at once too.

I have read the posts regarding changing the order of shipping and thought I had found out how to do it, by checking the box on Properties of the Special Delivery so that it appears at the bottom of the list, as the most expensive.

I also Actinic displayed the cheapest option first?

After upload however nothing has changed.

I am using v9 Business

Any further ideas please?

It is the advanced user guide yes and can be downloaded from the actinic site, the V8 will be the best one as most things are the same in v9 and i'm not sure if a v9 aug exists yet.
