need to ship per pallet price not weight?

Hi

shipping set via weigth in kg but there is a product that cant use the weigth calcualtions to ship. The product charges for example £100 per pallet and i can get 25 items per pallet so if they but 16 items shipping just for that item is £100 and then 26-50 items is £200 and if they choose 44 items shipping is £200.

So while rest of site calculates via weight how can i control shipping charge for this 1 or 2 products via items and pallets?

Think this post will give you the basis of how to work it out but would have thought by giving those particular products a 0 weight or a really hight weigth 10000 etc you should be able to do it it how we worked our furniture shipping charges and was a really simple solution.

Thanks for tip but i read it and am not quite with you, could you explain a bit more please, the problem i think will be tricky is the grouping, bit where if you select between 0-25 items shipping is this much eg £100 and 25-50 shipping for all of these items is this much? eg £200 51-75 is £300 etc
