Shipping Class Defaults?

We have 3 different shipping zones as listed below. At present when customers check out with items for reduced shipping they have to choose the option from the drop down box which some are overlooking and as such are being overcharged. How do we go about setting the shipping option up so it is selected by default?

Reduced - 0.00kg - £5.95
Standard - 299kg - £9.95
Large Sheets - 100000kg - 12.95

In v8.5.x you can Exclude a product from shipping band calculation, if you have this option selected for the products that come in the reduced zone, then that should work for you.

Bruce, If I have this correct then by doing this the shipping is then charged at £0.00...
