free shipping simplified?

I have followed the knowledge base article on eliminating countries via removing zones and changing to simple tax and selecting do not allow shipping.

This causes an error in the cart page where the customer is asked to call as no shipping is defined for the UK?

MESSAGE:
Select Shipping Destination - The catalog shipping database does not have any shipping options defined for this location. Please contact us directly with your order.

£0.00 is still a rate Ed, it needs to be told what to charge even if that is nothing. Make sure your tax and shipping areas tie up also, that's key in this area.
