Shipping: to be determined

Hi
I there a way to display in the "Shipping Charges" field, "to be determined" on the confirmations and checkout pages?

This is sometimes needed where the item has to ship by trucking service because of weight and bulk.

Also, the trick would be that this needs to be applied only to specific items and not globally.

Set up category based shipping for just those products and setup the costs to calc automatic. If you don't, how do you intend to take the extra shipping cost once worked out? Ringing up for prices is very retro, can you see no way of adding the charges, there are many ways of shipping with actinic, i've not met a site that needed to do it manual so far?

It seems that in the U.S. version of Actinic, when you subscribe to UPS online, (which is built into the U.S. version), it takes over and overr rides all other catagories.
When you use UPS's online shipping calculator, you cannot, not use it.
I've been over this with the U.S. distributor (Sure Solutions) and according to them, there is no way to over ride this.

That's a bit of a bugger then, i have no experience of the US version, so can't add anything useful. It sounds a bit restrictive though, can't you set excesses so UPS cannot be used and has to use another?
