Hi Mike,
Sorry I didn't see this sooner. If someone were to order a combination of items we'd need it to default to the GPS shipping price (I'd like to say its price related but some of the DVD software products are £200 but we'd still only charge the DVD shipping rate).
Realistically, no-one has ever ordered more than 14 DVD's but if they did it would need to ramp up to the 12.95 next day courier rate.
Complicated huh?
Cheers

What do you want to happen if the customer orders things from different bands. For example 4 DVDs and a GPS?
And what happens after 14 DVDs?

Excluding shipping classes for categories
Can anyone advise please?
I'm really struggling to configure what I'll admit is a seriously hinkey shipping arrangement.
My ideal model of shipping would be as follows :
Category : DVD's (Normal)
UK Recorded Delivery 1-3 units - £3.50
UK Recorded Delivery 4-14 units - £4.95
UK Special Delivery 1-3 units - £6.95
UK Special Delivery 4-14 units - £7.95
UK Next Day Courier - £12.95
European Airmail 1-3 units - £7.50
European Airmail 4-14 units - £12.50
European Courier - £25.00
Category : GPS
UK Special Delivery - £6.95
UK Next Day Courier - £12.95
European Courier - £25.00
Category : Paper (heavy item) cost per pack
UK Next Day Courier - £12.95
European Courier - £25.00
So you can see that I want to be able to exclude certain bands of shipping from the more valuable or items requiring courier shipping due to weight / size. At the moment I just have the 3 categories set up but the store pulls all the categories in regardless of the product and doesn't adjust the pricing. How can I best cofigure these options.
If necessary I'm willing to concede defeat on the Quantity options for the DVD category and just have one price each for Recorded, Special and European shipping.
