    Simple Shipping Question

    Hi

I'm sure this is possible but whatever I try doesn't seem to work correctly. I mainly sell motorcycle helmets. The shipping couldn't be simpler, anything up to £30 is charged at £3.95, between £30 and £100 it's £7.95 and over £100 is free shipping.

We sometimes sell small items that cost over £30 such as visors or gloves. Is there a way I can specifiy on a per product basis that an item over £30 isn't charged £7.95 but is charged at the under £30 band at £3.95?

    Thx Rich

Which version of Actinic are you using and what do you want to charge if the customer orders a visor and something else over £30?

      Hi

V11 Business. I'd like to charge £3.95 for a visor regardless of it's cost.
      Thx

But what is the charge if the customers buys a visor for £40 and a helmet for £50.
The helmet on its own would be charged at £7.95 and the visor on its own £3.95, but what do you want to charge when both are purchased.

Just a thought. Why don't you set them up as product categories under shipping and assign the relevant shipping cost to each. Also, instead of Visors & helmets, setup small , medium & large item categories. Once done, assign the relevant category to all your products.

When both are purchased together it would ideally follow the current model where orders between £30 & £100 are £7.95. It's really for when just a visor is purchased on it's own that costs over £30 I would still like to charge £3.95 and not £7.95
