HSBC intergration...

Hi

When I configure my store with HSBC method, do I initially run it in test mode, then switch to ' Run in Production mode '

In the transaction part, is this a choice for the customer or does it depend on the bank.

' pre authorise transactions ' or ' Charge transactions immediately '

NExt... With the 'Storefront ID' & ' CPI Hash ' , are these obtained by the customer from their bank or do I have to obtain these on their behalf.

With all these bits completed is this all I should need to make this store work with HSBC, or is their other settings that I have missed?

Rich,

To set up HSBC as a payment method you have to enter the details HSBC give you as the store owner. That way they know which account to pay the money into.

'Pre-authorise' or 'charge immediately' are options available to you (not your customers). You might for example choose to use 'pre-authorise' if you don't want to charge the customer until the goods they've ordered are ready to ship.
