error sending http

I am trying to use the configure website details, however after it has located the cgi-bin and web root when I click next it comes up with the error sending a HTTP request.

If i put all the details into the network settings manually it works though

what could be causing this?

If Advanced / Network Setup / <enter details manually> works and passes the Test, then just OK out and your settings will be saved and ready to use.

If the Test fails then tell us what it says.
