    Theme Help!

I am a n00b to Actinic, or at least the design part.

Im helping with http://www.sportsaver.co.uk and have come up with this design to replace the current (outdated) one with:
    http://www.d-studio.co.uk/the_penguin/ss/index.html

I am just wondering how exactly to go about this and where (if any) are the best tutorials to do so?

If anyone can provide any help with this then please reply here or email me at richard@d-studio.co.uk

The advanced design guide for V6 has a section about integrating actinic into an existing design. It can be downloaded from the support docs area.

I think in V7 the details have been put into the 'help' area within the program. Great if you have it installed but not so friendly for just reading.

If you want make the best of the integration then I would probably recommend the 'Design and Implementation of Actinic Stores' training. Like most things in life there a few tricks of the trade to getting the best out of Actinic and you can either learn them quickly on a course or over time on the job. The next trainign course is about two weeks away on january 11th. See here http://www.actinic.co.uk/services/training.htm for details.

thanks, i have found the advanced help now, and im almost finished with the layout and getting it all working.

ONly problems so far are built in CSS making some of the template parts behave oddly, but the solution i have found for this is just deleting (or changing) the bits which i can see afecting it.

      Thankyou for your help!
