Beginners setup problem with htdocs and cgi-bin

Trying to setup War-FTP V1.80 and Apache as per instructions in the Advanced Guide v7.

My Apache2 is configured under C:/www/Apache2........ with there already being a cgi-bin located in C:/www/cgi-bin and also another one in C:/www/Apache2/cgi-bin

I have now congigured httpd.conf so that the Scriptalias and Directory now read
C:/www/Apache2/htdocs/cgi-bin/ with the new cgi-bin created in htdocs as per the AG v7.

I've stop and started Apache and also rebooted system.

But in setting up War-FTP I cannot get C:/www/Apache2/htdocs to come up in the 'File Access' screen ?????

    Any help or guidance please.

Managed to manually add the directories to War FTP, even thou it says nothing like that in the AG v7

    Now onto the next problem.

In trying to 'TEST' the Advanced Network Setup, I get an simple error 'Unable to connect to the FTP Server because the username or password is incorrect. I've tried the username/password that gets me into War FTP and the demo username/password as suggested in the AG v7. I still get the same error message.

Could somebody shed any light onto this little problem ??? Also is the following screenshot of the Advanced Network Setup

      Hi Gary

The username and password will be case sensitive - do they appear exactly as you have them in WarFTP as you have entered in Advanced | Network setup?

If so, have you tried changing them in WarFTP under the Usre Maintenance, then changing them again in Adanced | Network setup - just so we can be sure they are the same in both places.
