    I am missing cgi files?

After much work, I am now in the testing phase of my online shop project.

The sight appears to work fine except for the checkout stage.

After choosing a payment method, I click Next and the browser attempts to call os000001.cgi (this is also mentioned in the url of the checkout pages). However the call fails and I am faced with a standard "This page cannot be displayed" page.

Sadly, cgi is not my strong point so if anybody can offer some guidance I'd be really grateful.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

until someone who knows more about Actinic than myself answers, I would suggest that you review your network setup to ensure that all of your paths are correct.

      Hi there

What payment method are you choosing? Also can you provide us with a url for the site? The os script always gets used on the checkout stage, so it strange why it failing on choosing the payment side.

        Thanks for the replies.

Any payment method other than worldpay seems to cause the problem. The worldpay module has not been activated yet so I am unsure if that will be problematic as well.

On checking my network settings there appears to be an issue with the e-mail side of things. Might this be causing it?

        The url is: www.homebase-maintenance.co.uk.

I appreciate any/all assistance you can give

          Hi Dylan,

I have checked your site and can recreate the issue. When you go onto the reciept page, Actinic will send out an email via the perlscripts.

Now one thing i would check, is that if you go to "Advance | Network Setup". Check the "Email Settings", the server has to be the one supplied by your hosting company, you cannot put a third party server here (ie BT internet).
Also if you go to "View | Business Settings | Company/Contact", the Email address here has to be the one supplied by the hosting company, so as an example, it could be anything@homebase-maintenance.co.uk.

          Please check this.

          Kind Regards
