    ERROR merging files on site

    Hi, there
I have just got this software on a magazine as it looks so interesting and very good it was in PCPlus.

I tried to upload my files to my webspace but this happens:
    http://www.jakescreations.co.uk/error.htm

    Settings:

    HTTPPROXYMODE 0
    HTTPPROXYADDRESS
    HTTPPROXYPORT 80
    HTTPPROXYUSER
    HTTPPROXYPASSWORD
    FTPPROXYMODE 0
    FTPPROXYADDRESS
    FTPPROXYPORT 21
    FTPPROXYUSER
    FTPPROXYPASSWORD
    SCRIPTID 0
    SCRIPTEXT .pl
    SMTPHOST
    WEBSITEURL http://www.jakescreations.co.uk/
    IGNOREPASSIVEERRORS true
    PATHTOPERL /usr/bin/perl
    CATALOGURL http://www.jakescreations.co.uk/acatalog/
    CGIBINURL http://www.jakescreations.co.uk/cgi-bin/
    PATHFROMCGITOCATALOG ./acatalog/
    CODEBASE ./
    FTPHOST 81.3.70.128
    FTPUSERNAME ***********
    FTPPASSWORD ************
    PATHTOCGIBIN /cgi-bin/
    USEPASSIVEFTP false
    FTPPATHFROMCGITOCATALOG /acatalog/

So if there is anything else you require please do ask me.
Also I wondered how secure is this for inline credit card transactions.

I have CHMOD the folders all to 777 is this ok?

Are you sure your path from cgi-bin to catalog is correct. You have:-

          PATHFROMCGITOCATALOG ./acatalog/

          and it's usually ../acatalog/

          (see that extra dot?).
