Remove Terms and Conditions from checkout page

    Hi,

I don't want to have terms and conditions on the actual checkout page.

Can these be removed? I've had a look but can't see how to do it.

    Thanks in advance.

    John

There are options to have Ts & Cs on a separate page external to the catalog, which you could then provide a link to. See Help | Help Topics | Business Settings - Entering your terms and conditions.

      The checkout page...

      Update................................

I built a new brochure page and made new fragments for each T&C then deleted the text in the Business Settings I T&Cs page.

      Bingo.

      Thanks again

      Hi Bill,

Thanks. I've just realised that if I empty the T&Cs fields they shouldn't show in the check out page. I'll give it a go.

      Thanks for your help.

      John.

        Um, Johnny -

If they don't show then you will want to add a link to the new page where you ask customers to confirm their acceptance or you will not be complying with the spirit of the law.

If you get some headings and/or blank space where they used to show, you can tick the correct box in View | Business settings to get rid of that.

          Thanks,

          Yes the legal aspect.

I'm trying to work out how to get a link to a new page but for now I've reverted back to the origonal to save me any grief.

          Thanks for pointing that out.

          John.

Looks like you would want to comment this out in each of order00.html 01.html 02.html and 03.html

            NETQUOTEVAR:INFOPANELS would become <!-- NETQUOTEVAR:INFOPANELS -->

and right alongside you would put <p><a href="myteesandcees.html" target="_blank"><b>Click HERE to read our Terms and Contitions in a new window</b></a></p>

              Fantastic

That's what I was looking for Bill.

I really appreciate your help. Me being a newbie, it's sometimes a while before I can get my head around this type of thing.

Thanks again for your help. Much appreciated.

              John.
