Using My Current Site

Hi,

I've put together a site in XHTML and CSS and want to integrate Actinic Catalog with it. I've looked through this forum and the manual and can't seem to find a section which answers my problem - how do I put Actinic onto my current design and not have to use a template ?

The advanced user guide has the best advice on how to integrate actinic into an existing site design.

You'll find them here: http://www.actinic.co.uk/support/downloads.htm

Because actinic has put much of the content into the 'help' files, the relevant bit may be there instead of in the V7 manual. In which case check the help files or take a look in the V6 advanced user guide.

Don't sleep too soundly until you've checked it out. You'll still need to create a template from your existing pages and I'm not sure whether V7 still has some restrictions on what file extensions can be used. For V6 there were some limitations. Good luck - Actinics love of nesting tables will cause some fun and games along the way - take a look at http://community.actinic.com/showthread.php?t=14742 titled Starting Again which covers a wide range of issues including reducing the Actinic bloat and removing some tables for <div> tags - may be some useful pointers in there to take on board
