Plusnet SMTP

Hi
I can see this subject has been brought up alot but can not find the answer so i was wondereing if anyone has got Actinic fully working with Plusnet ? At the moment i get

Actinic Mail Test completed successfully
server: passed
connection: failed
sockets: passed
communications: failed
authorisation: failed
message: Connection timed out

can anyone help ?

Hi Dave

Have you spoken to PlusNet to find out what their SMTP server is? You could try putting in 'localhost'.

have tried local host with and without user name/password also have tried their smtp which is relay.plus.net with and with out same results
