PayPal merchant ID ??

I am using WorldPay as my PSP but would also like to accept PayPal after reading the threads that a lot of orders are placed this way on other sites.

My question is this: when I add a new payment method for PayPal and I go to configure method it is asking me for a merchant ID. Is this the same merchant ID as for my WorldPay account or is there a merchant ID that is for PayPal? I have a PayPal account for use with ebay which I buy and accept payment through but cannot find any mention of a merchant account.

I have emailed PayPal but as yet have had no responce.

If anyone here can answer the question I would be grateful.

I believe that this is your paypal email address.

Using your WorldPay one in this PayPal method of payment will not provide anything, so the email address you accept payments under from PayPal is the key.

NO worries, best of luck and dont forget to give it a whirl through to the payment page - just to make sure it is registering at the PayPal end under your details (thus you get paid )
