Ok Steve humour me

Manually add an index.html page to your FTP and try again

I got the feeling it was the holding page, just deleted my index & it failed-manually added it & it passed

I am confident this will work

Hmmm-well it worked for me

Just dbl checked & no index.html causes this error

Is the index in the root?

Make sure the 123 holding page has gone & is replaced by your own

If it is, and you pass Advanced network setup-just upload anyway

Mick, don't ask me how or why, turned actinic off, rebooted, reapplied settings with the added index.html & Eureka! it uploads fine! Site isn't finished yet, but at least I can get on with adding stuff now
