At http://www.actinic.co.uk/support/downloads.htm you can get additional documentation including the Advanced User Guide. If all else fails, you can get a list from page 89 onward of the files you need to upload. Unfortunately they are not all in site1 and so it gets a little complex - there is also the minor problem of needing the web connection working to get the order dowloading operational.

This thread contains advice on some setting changes that might help http://community.actinic.com/showpos...35&postcount=5

What is the make and model of the connection box (the router) that you use for your internet connection - this might also be the problem.

One thing missing from all this - what web address are you trying to upload to - that is www.streamlinenet are your host, but what is your own web address? What are your Network settings in Actinic - can you post these (after removing user name and password details.).

It looks to me as though the path to cgi-bin is wrong, it should be /cgi-bin/ if the cgi-bin directory is at the same level as the acatalog folder.

Did you need to/have you been able to - make the MTU change recommended in the second link in post #16?

If those settings and changing the cgi-bin path do not solve the problem, then the next step would be to contact Actinic Support with your full settings including the usernames and passwords. That should be done by email, not posted publicly here.

It's worth checking that your PC firewall isn't blocking Actinic from accessing the internet. From the sound of the problem, actinic is unable to see the internet and is thus looking for proxy settings, but the problem could be your firewall.
