    Uploading Actinic Website

    Hi I'm trying to upload my actinic website but am experiencing problems on upload. The site seems to go up to the server ok, but when I view it, its not picking up any of the graphics, stylesheets and javascript I've used as part of the store.....even the default actinic ones. I've looked on the server and actinic appears to be only uploading some files rather than all the files it needs including the .fil files.

    Does anybody have an answer to this? I've built another store recently and not had this problem.

    I should also add that all my files are in the acatalog directory.

      Yes Mike I have, just tried another upload and its put the .fil files in place now.....but for some reason is ignoring the graphics etc in acatalog....I'm just beginning to wonder if there's a tag missing out of one of the files but can't see if any are missing. I've scanned the files a fair bit now and there appears to be nothing missing anyway. Yesterday the upload was working fine, but since I created a snapshot for my client things have gone wrong.

      I have another sirte i've just created in pretty much the same way and its going up to the server fine. The only way I can see around this is to upload the graphics files to the sever through dreamweaver but this isn't ideal. thing is, its not uploading any of the product images either.

        How have you referenced the files in your templates? If you have put a full path on them you may have to put them into the addtional files list to get Actinic to upload them, if you have just used their names, Actinic should just find them.

          File names

          Yeah I've just used the file names. I know it should just find them but its just missing them all. Its so annoying as I've never had this before.

          Do you think I should put all the files into the 'additional file names' box even though it shouldn't need it? I'm talking all the graphics, even the actinic ones here though.

            Nick - do you have a URL and an example of what should be there but is missing?

            I assume you have purged your browser cache?

            Can you see the changes when in preview mode under Actinic?
