Can anyone tell me how you can check and set permissions on cgi-bins.
Still having great difficulty uploading my site.
My server is streamlinenet.co.uk

Using an FTP application set the cgi-bin to 0755 (rwxr-xr-x) which is more than enough permissions for Actinic scripts to operate from.
If you are unsure how to set this, then ask your host if they can ensure it is created and set to this permission (also assuming this is a linux box)
