Simpe Question..i expect

Hello,
I am just trying to setup the details for my host. However i repeatingly get errors when trying to locat my cgi bin. The location is /cgi-bin as you would expect, but when i enter this i get "your host has redirected you to "http://...."
Im not sure why this. Im sure the location is correct, and i can write to the folder. Any suggestions here.!?

Hi Dave,

welcome to the forum. The path to cgi-bin is not necessarily /cgi-bin as viewed from the website ... it needs to the path from the server root ... depending on your server setup this may be something like /public/www/acatalog/ .... best to FTP onto the web server at the www level and see what directories are above.

If you post who you are hosting with someone may be able to let you know the path. The above path is for CLARA

hmmm, ok. im trying to upload to Active24, or what was VI.

Ive attached a wee pic of the Site layout, as seen through my FTP.

Any help here!???
