1and1 mail server with actinic

I am having a few problems with using 1and1 and actinic

when I put

auth.smtp.1and1.co.uk

in the smtp server box i get the error:

Connection refused

when I try
auth.smtp.oneandone.co.uk I get this error

SMTP Authentication is not supported by this server!

any ideas

Try unchecking username and password required.

that did the trick now the checks come back clear

Is it possible to set actinic up so that once an order is placed the customers gets a copy of that order via email straight away?

scratch last question

email just arrived with confimation of order

it took 4 times as long for that email to arrive that the one that i sent from actinic to inform the customer that an order had been recieved

I find that auth.smtp.oneandone.co.uk (not 1and1) is more reliable, and seems to work fine without authentication.
