    Getting started - Need Help!

With the 'dynamically linking to a database' is it possible to link to my current database with all my products from my previous website and import all the information straight into the actinic database, so i wont have to put all the products onto the new site again?

Also how does the integration with sage actually work and how is it installed. I am a little confused as how it all works?

    thanks.

    DPR.

To even attempt an answer, we would need to know what database your products are currently in and the database structure (field names, data types, lengths). If there is no straight path, you might be able to export in a suitable format from your existing database and use another program to rearrange the data for import into Actinic.

Actinic Link which handles the connection to Sage, is a seperate product - not included in the standard catalog version of Actinic, you should be able to find information about the Link product on the Actinic site.
