Help!

I wish to use Dreamweaver/notepad to completly customise Actinic.

I have installed the extension to allow me to do this but when I contacted support they advised me to change the editor which was used.

However when I change the files via the editor they don't seem to be picked up via Actnic nor do I have the option to refresh - as this is greyed out.

I have customised dozens of stores using Erolonline and Zen cart and was hoping actinic would be in a similar vein - but I don't seem to have grasped the basics - help!!

Which files are you editting......

You should be changing templates and not generated files

ie ACT_ files and not P_

Use the template manager on the advanced menu to help you locate the correct files to edit.

Also get hold of a copy of the advanced user guide from actinic.co.uk/ look for downloads

Thanks the fact the refresh button on the software was greyed out was making me think my changes couldn't be picked up - just need to keep previewing- slowly figuring out Actnic is very unique...(and not like any other software package)
