    cgi-bin problem

    Hi,

I'm trying to move a test site to a live server but am having some problems. Live server is linux with DC Hosting, and the cgi-bin & acatalog directories are in the main site folder. My problem appears to be with the 'Path to CGI-BIN' entry, when running the test i get the error

'Unable to move to the cgi-bin directory "./cgi-bin/" on the FTP server.
The specified directory does not exist or you do not have access to the directory.'

I have tried './cgi-bin/', '/cgi-bin/' and 'cgi-bin/' but get the same error. The permissions are set to 755. Am i missing something obvious...?

What do you mean by 'main site folder'? When you ftp onto your server can you see the cgi-bin straight away or do you have to go into a sub folder?

      Hi Tracey,

Sorry, have just resolved that and subsequently received a 500 Internal error, but permissions changes fixed that too.

      Cheers
