merging files

When merging files on the server during upload, it comes back and says uaable to merge files, permission denied. ANy ideas?

Hi there

Its sounds like you /acatalog/ folder on your webserver does not have the correct permission.

We recommend the permission to be set to 777 for the /acatalog/ folder and files inside.

You could check this, if you have cuteftp/ws_ftp, if you do not, then i would suggest in contacting your webhost company

The directories are set for read write execute on the server (win 2000) any other suggestions?

I think the Internet Guest Account (IUSR_computername) does not have the control it needs in the 'acatalog' folder. This is the user that the Perl scripts run as.

Please consult p102 of the Advanced User Guide for details about giving this user the necessary permissions.
