Natwest Streamline / Orbit Internet confusion

Hi,

I'm setting up an Actinic site for a customer who uses Natwest Streamline.

I've purchased him an account with Orbit internet so that he can take internet payments.

Now for the confusion:

I spoke to Orbit and they need an alphanumeric code, which they say is often based on the customer's name, to link Actinic, Orbit and Streamline together.

Unfortunately I don't have that number, and Natwest Streamline claim not to have any knowledge of it, other than a numeric 8-digit ID for the Streamline account!

So what do I do? Can anyone advise me on who is telling me the truth here, and how I actually get this stuff to work?

An update here. I've just spoken to a member of the Streamline ecommerce team, and apparently as well as the Orbit software it needs a piece of PHP-based software from Natwest called Streamline Direct, which is paid for separately.

So to recap, the software I'm using:
* Actinic Catalog
* Claranet for hosting
* Orbit Internet for payment gateway
* Natwest Streamline Direct for payment

Phew! Not very Streamlined, is it!?!?!

Perhaps for the next release of the product somebody could sort out this mess, which is taking me weeks to resolve.

I've spoken to Orbit Internet and Streamline Direct this afternoon.

Orbit say that you will need an alpha code provided by Streamline Direct. This is to be entered into the MerchantID box in Business Settings | Payment and Security | Configure Method and also given to Orbit so that it can be entered on their server.

Streamline Direct say that they can give you this MerchantID as long as you have a Streamline Direct account set up with them. If you don't have an account, the sales number is 0800 010166 - if you already have the account set up, the helpdesk is 0131 523 8442.
