    new ISP new network probs

    Hi there,
I have set up with a new isp and each time i try to upload Catalog creates an acatalog folder inside the cgi-bin folder and also my index.html page!!

The server is a windoze NT server
The ISP said the whole site will accept script calls from anywhere in the site. I said i do need a cgi-bin directory for actinic to run properly. he said i can create a cgi-bin directory on my site which i did.
when i use an ftp program to upload my files the first directory i see is /xxx inside that is acatalog (which i created but no files will go in there with the actinic upload) and cgi-bin (which i also created and is where the actinic generated acatalog folder goes along with my index.html & script files)

when i use the network wizard to check all the paths it says the path to my root folder is here "C:/Inetpub/J/jXXX.com.au"

How do i make it so actinic uploads into the /xxx/acatalog/ folder and the index page goes directly to /xxx ?

I have attached my settings folder in the hope that one of you knowledgeble people can help me yet again

    Cheers and thanks,

    Jacy

You seem to have an errant 's' in your CGI-BIN URL, which will not help matters.

    It reads http://www.xxxs.com.au/cgi-bin/.

Also, try ../acatalog in the 'path from CGI-BIN to acatalog Directory' field.

      Hiya Chris,
Think of the xxx as my site, i deleted my site name and ladded xxx instead of mysite.com.au and also left an s in there. Will try your suggestions

        Hi again,
I entered ../acatalog and the files are now uploading to the correct directory. The problem i am having now is that while i can see my site if i try to use any part of my site that requires scripts i get a gereral script error!!

        "A General Script Error Occurred

        --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Error: Error opening configuration file ../acatalog/A000.cat. No such file or directory
        --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Press the Browser back button and try again or contact the site owner."

What can it possibly be now??
It says it can't find the files but they are there i was looking at the files 2 mins before trying out my site.

        Heelllpppppp

        Cheers
