    Help with SSL and Easyspace

Hi, my boss is thinking about purchasing Actinic Business, but I am having a little trouble getting the network settings to work with SSL on easyspace.

When testing the settings i get the error message saying:

'The server name or address could not be resolved'

    and then it says...

'The test script failed to execute on the web server. The error could be caused by several things. Check the path to the Perl shell, the CGI-BIN URL, and the proxy WWW port.. This error could also occur if your web site is out of disk space or your web server is not configured to accept POSTs to CGI scripts.'

Is this something wrong with the settings? or is this something wrong with easyspace's setup?

I have checked their help sections and entered settings like they show. I have contacted them too, but i know theyre not the greatest and replying lol

    Any help very much appreciated

Try an alternative approach, and enter the settings via the connection wizard (Web | Configure Web Site Details).

I reckon the problem is the method you connect via to connect to the Internet, and hopefully Actinic will detect this via the wizard.

Thanx for you reply cdicken, but im having trouble with the wizrd. It keeps telling me that my host address was not able to be resolved, for www address and ftp address.

I have managed to get the site online for testing and it all works fine, but for some reason the wizard just doesnt like me.

What settings do you have under the normal tab for:-

          Catalog URL?
          CGI-BIN URL?

and under the SSL tab for the same?
          "OK Venus?"
          "OK Steve!"
          "Right then, lets go!
