FTP problems...HELP!!! Please

I would like the settings to upload my site for the first time i have webspace with www.oneandone.co.uk but i can not upload the site!! i have read all the other theads and tryed there settings but it still does not work!!
please someone help i am dyeing here!!

Hi there

For issues like uploading to the website, it will be useful for us to know what the error is.

Within actinic have you tried to use the web wizard? To run the wizard, simply go to "Web | Configure Website Details" and place a tick in "Configure New Network Settings".

Actinic will then ask you for your ftp details and website url. If you do not have these information, then you will need to contact One and One.

At any point, if you get an error message, please write it down, it will give us a better understanding on what the problem is

i have webspace with www.oneandone.co.uk

OneAndOne have about 5 different webspace products. Please indicate which one you're using.

Also if you go in Actinic to Advanced / Network Setup you will see a button marked Export. If you click this you get a textfile containing your network settings. You can copy and paste from this file (hide the password entries) into the forum so we can all see what settings you are using.

Ok i have the starter pakage and i also have my own domain name kiteforce.co.uk again i got this domain from one and one.
when i signed up for the webspace they did NOT send me any password or user name should they have??
i bought the domain name about 2 weeks before i got the webspace and i got a user name (kiteforce.co.uk) and password for that?? would the user name and password be the same??
also will this starter pakage be good enough for me eshop? or will i have to upgrade?
sorry for all the questions but i am new to all this..

The minimimum package from OneAndOne that will run Actinic is "Business" (the one costing £8.99 per month). In packages below this you don't get FTP access or Perl scripting, both of which Actinic needs to run.

Hi thanks for the reply, i do have the wrong package!! but i have tryed to change the package but it says "you can only change your pakage once every 30 days!!
i can't wait 30 days until i get my website up on the internet!!
can anyone help??

Try speaking to them and see if that helps. Alternatively you could cancel the Starter package (they say 60 days no quibble) and start again. Explain that this is your only alternative and they might help.
