    SSL, Login and Network Settings!

I upgraded to V8 HMVA the other day to take advantage of the now correctly functioning Paypal Pro integration. However, today after adding a new Account Customer and uploading, on testing his username and password I get the old

'This shopping application requires permission to use cookies on your machine, but this has been denied.'........etc

The strange thing is that the SSL configuration works fine for the Shopping Cart but not for the Login function.

Its at www.toplightco.com - got a feeling that it's the Network Settings for SSL that are not quite right for my host (Heartinternet) who say:

    We have mapped the URL:-

    https://web24.secure-secure.co.uk/toplightco.com/ to http://www.toplightco.com

Please note the s in https.

This means that any files that are hosted on your main website can also be loaded securely, simply link to this URL when you need to securely load a page.

Going to walk the dog to clear my flu ridden head and to try to think of the answer but if you get there first I would be very grateful !

Ive noticed this happening on sites that have not been upgraded as well recently so it may not be related to the upgrade

yep i suspect its a cookie error and not speficially ssl error, do a forum search usung part of the error message as the keywords, cure this first and then look at any ssl errors that may or may not be left
