Redirecting between sites

I have finished creating the Actinic online shop which is pretty much a replica of our current website, with the obvious 'shop' capability now added.

The current website is in public_html, so if I upload my online shop (site1) alongside it, how do I redirect to the index within site1?

The reason I want to keep both website folders as opposed to replacing the old one, is so I can test the online shop out of hours, and redirect to the current website should anything not work correctly such as payments, links etc.

Hi,

When Actinic uploads to the server, it creates a folder called 'acatalog' within which all the Actinic files including the shop index.html is stored. If you do not use Brochure pages in Actinic and in 'Design | Design Options' under 'Home Page Link' set it to url and provide the link to your current website index page.
