      Url

The URL is www.mpsurvey.co.uk but I have added the shop as a hyperlink from a + in the bottom left hand corner so the current website still runs.

Thanks, very greatful if you can help.

Did you find it? Is it something to do with CGI bin links?

        Thanks

How did yopu upload the store?
It looks as if you did it manually which would be wrong.

Actinic does all the uploading to the site.

Go to network settings and do a network test - if it passes without errors then do an upload from the icon on the toolbar in actinic.

Network test was fine and uploaded from Actinic ok. Is now live but now all the page links go to 'page not found' as its looking in acatalog. I know its supposed to upload as acatalog but dont understand why none of the links are working. Also theres a file permissions error?
            Thanks

Looks like a host of things have been linked to preview pages to me instead of the correct URLs, plus there are permission problems on scripts. I give you some credit though, that's the most cocked up site i have seen in a while. Why not keep it simple and use a standard theme while you are learning, it looks like you are working against the software rather than with it.

Who do you host with, have you confirmed they work with Actinic?

Thanks for the compliment!! I host with webfusion (pipex). Im on a deadline as its a company website so short of recreating it from scratch, is there any advice to redirect the links Im getting nervous now as it has to be live and working asap so we dont lose business.

                Thanks

                  Two issues -
Your server's not processing the cgi scripts.
You are going to have to correct those links that start with P_... to the correct online pahe names.

If you are using webfusion then you need to make sure that your files are in the public directory.

All the links are in the public_html directory and are working fine except the products page, obviously cos this one links to the shop. Im so nearly there! Just have this error message now when I click on products..??

A file permissions error has occurred running this script.
Please check that the script and the directory that it's in are only writable by the site administrator. If this error persists, please contact the server administrator.

Where would I find these settings to change file permissions or is this something webfusion would have to do for me? thanks

On linux you can manually FTP into your webspace with an FTP client and change the permissions. (CHMOD) The cgi-bin needs to be 755.

when you upload actinic from your windows workstation you are probably uploading to a linux webserver, you need to be investigating the permissions on the webserver

                              the permissions on the webserver
The standard setting on webfusion linux servers work just fine. What package is it that you have??
