Where are you storing your images on your PC - they should be in the site1 folder

We don't mean refreshing your browser - we mean refreshing the online site by going in Actinic to Help - Troubleshooting - Website Purge and Refresh.

Also make sure as Malcolm says that everything related to your website is in the Site1 folder.

            I see several problems:

            1) You may have erronous Network Settings. The generated line

            <Actinic:BASEHREF VALUE="http://www.flashymobiles.com/" FORCED=1/>

            should be

            <Actinic:BASEHREF VALUE="http://www.flashymobiles.com/acatalog/" FORCED=1/>

            2) If I try to load an image directly into the browswer via http://www.flashymobiles.com/acatalo...csson_Logo.jpg I get
            Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /acatalog/HQ_Sony_Ericsson_Logo.jpg on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

If you are definately seeing the image files being uploaded by Actinic during the upload/refresh stage then it would most likely look like a hosting issue.

I notice, upon a brief inspection, that all your image are .gif files. Have you tried uploading a .jpg file type?

Perhaps fire an email of to your webhost to get a response from them about this issue. Perhaps your server is not correctly configured for image files, strange as this may sound!

I would still try contacting your host for confirmation that there is no issue at their end!

Welcome to HostGator Live Chat! You are now chatting with 'Nathon'

******: Welcome to HostGator, how may I assist you?

                    ibby: Hi

ibby: I am having problems with my website

                    ******: Hello

                    ******: What is the problem?

ibby: Ive recently bought actinc software and decided to make an ecomerce website.

ibby: However some of the images if not all are not displayed when you navigate to the url.

                    ibby: url is

                    ibby: flashymobiles.com

ibby: every thing looks ok at my pc side, and the images are going up but no one can view them

******: I really have no way of checking that because it would be scripting related. You will have to contact the script creater for assistance

ibby: Well.. I have and they asked me to come to you

ibby: to verfiy that certin types of images .. or scripts are not locked down on the servers

******: I cannot check the coding on this. It is going through a cgi script

******: No images or scripts would be blocked

                    ibby: ok

******: Is there anything else I can help you with?

                    ibby: Nope

Why not make a new directory on your webspace and manually upload an image, then see if you can see it on the web.

                            This bit:

                            FTPPATHFROMCGITOCATALOG /acatalog/

Looks wrong. It's implying that for FTP the /acatalog/ folder is in the cgi-bin directory.

Try leaving it blank and do a full refresh.

It is not scripting related. All they need to do is to check the images exist at the URL requested, and then check to make sure the server is serving these images as expected. Bit of a lacklustre response that tbh.

To be fair Ibby, the host recommended you speak to the Script originators, Actinic. You asked the forum community, not Actinic. Moot point I know, but best to be correct here

That seems to answer the issue of the server configuration.

Ibby, Have you FTP'd onto your hosting area using a 3rd Party program like WS_FTP or Cute_FTP or the like to check that the missing images are actually there on the webserver within the acatalog folder online?
This is the very first thing I would be doing.
