    Path to Perl properhosting.com

Hi - I installing v6 and indicated the path to perl as:
    /usr/bin/perl
The network setup refuses to recognize it there. Any ideas?I have the host looking into it as well:

    Angel,

It's definitely /usr/bin/perl, I'll forward to this Jerry the technical guy and see if he can come up with anything.

Our Perl is definately "later" then 5.0002, and we don't have the MD5 module
installed, but I don't think that is the problem.

Your CGI bin is definately user writeable.

Do you have a URL that shows you the error?

    Hi Angel

Normally for Perl issue i would upload a helloworld perlscript.

Attach to this post is a perlscript that you will upload to the cgi-bin. Once you have uploaded it, then try to run it via internet explorer

    An example would be

    http://www.domain.com/cgi-bin/helloworld.pl

If it fails to run, or you get an internal server error, then you cannot run perl script using /usr/bin/perl

I would suggest in emailing the webhosting company with the full path of the helloworld script

    I hope this helps you

    Kind Regards
