    Actinic closing catalogue upload problem

    Hi everyone,

    One of V8 sites is crashing on upload attempts for the last few days.

    Actinic Checks catalogue and gets as far as display "account data" then freezes and microsoft pop up says error caused cataloge error and actinic had to close.

    Site is still working online and downloading orders, and is one of 8 sites on this computer, all others are working fine.

    We have backed up, compacted data bases, repaired mdb etc with no joy. Same error occurs on refresh and upload.

    Actinic looked at snapshot and advised re-loading Actinic (did not know 1 of 8 sites) and are off today.

    Anyone had this error and know a fix. Only work we have done on site recently done is updating testimonials page and stock control. Do not think any new customer accounts have been created, but do not know if "account data" relates to this ?

    Please advise if you have encountered similar

    Hi everyone,

    Have un-installed Actinic and re-installed as suggested by actinic support but the same catalogue error remains with error occuring at account data catalogue checking stage-whatever this means

    Have phoned actinic support yesterday-they have looked at site and can not see what is causing problem.

    Does anyone know how to fix this ?

    Have also tried site on another 2 computers with same error occuring ?

    Please help we are getting desperate !

      Quick update

      Pat at Mole-End (thank you Pat) advised us to update to our v8 to 8.53 and it looks like this may be going to sort it out as it gets through all the checks now, and looks as if it is going to upload

      We are not going to upload fully until after the weekend- just in case we crash the site.

      Wish us luck !
