CGI-Scripts

I've designed a web site and set up an NT 4 server to host it.

The website runs fine apart from the Cgi Scripts don't run.

Error messages whilst trying to upload include:

"Actinic Ecommerce is not able to run the CGI scripts on the server. It appears as if the scripts are not installed. The most likely cause is that you have an incorrect CGI-BIN URL."

"Your FTP account does not have permission to write to the specified CGI-BIN directory"

I've loosened all of the permissions gradually but still have know joy.

Does anyone know how to get CGI Scripts to run?

Hi Michael

It may be that there is a discrepancy between your path to CGI-BIN and the cgi-bin URL. Have you tried uploading a test script to the cgi-bin and running it from the URL?
