    SSL & uploading

I have the following problem when testing the network configuration settings:

When analyzing the site & coming to the part where it uploads test scripts to the secure cgi-bin there is a message with the following text:

Your webserver is not configure for secure communications (no SSL license). Contact your system administrator or ISP.

We have purchased a certificate & it has been applied to the secure directory & cgi-bin on the server. I am also able to use a browser to go to the directory and the connection is shown to be secure & you can view the certificate. When prompted during the site analysis I've also entered the path to the secure cgi-bin & had the same result. I am not sure what else to look for at this point.

    Thanks,

    Greg

    Hi Greg,

Sorry for the delay in responding to this query. Although you may have the secure certificate in place on the server, your hosting company may not have the setup that Actinic requires. Get them to check this document, which is a guide to setting up SSL with Actinic.

Alternatively, you could post your query here to have a support team member allocate the time to look into the problem.
